The 8th Annual BYC Easter Hatch-a-long!!!!

How nice!

:bow

Tornado?

Beautiful bird and eggs!

The humidity pump is easy to use, but I wish it was quiet.  The noise of it pumping drives my husband crazy!

A broody! :clap

Pita pinta are sooooo pretty!  Are the delaware's from Kim?

Beautiful eggs!

Broody or incubator, doesn't matter.

:yesss:

Resorted for you. :)

We are still collecting numbers.

My luck if I set that many I'd have a 100% hatch then no way to get rid of all the extras or set as many as I did and have a no hatch!! Gotta love my luck lol

I'm afraid not in time for the morning :/
Yes I'm all set with towels and some wheat bags that will be warm. I'm hoping they get done quickly and that it won't be the full 2 hours :fl
That's very interesting on the day early and the day late ones even with cool down running my from day one.
Yes they gave notice which makes a change. Last time they did repairs near our house it wasn't meant to go off but they bust something whilst doing the repair so it went off anyway
I'm not surprised you were not amused with the water going off!

And we had two power outages. The last power outage the wife kept the last four in her lap under a blanket while sitting reading. I almost tossed them with the quitters except they still felt warm. Put them back in incubator when the power came back all hatched within the hour. I think you will do fine it sounds like you are well prepared.

I havent set all the eggs. Still finishing up a hatch of almost 70, so a small amount of good sense prevailed.

Here is what I did set though-

35 Silverudd's Blue
24 Swedish Flower Hen
7 American Breese
12 Silver Ameraucana
15 Lemon Frisian Gull
2 Golden Cuckoo Marans
1 Alsteirer

Total 96. I may add to this tomorrow. It is good to see so many familiar chicken friends on here and the new faces too!
Add 10 more American Breese and 2 mystery eggs for a friend. My total for the hatch along is now 108 set.
