I got a firefly candler for $17.00. I can't wait to use it.
Bummer. Thank you for updating.
What?!![]()
Oh no! I probably should have skipped this one, but what's the fun in that!!!
I'm so sorry you were not feeling well!! I hope you are doing better now! Adorable duckies, glad they finally got the memo.

I've got 12 to 15 silkies brooding right now. Egg laying is WAY down.
I was looking at the same flashlight for a candler and it works amazing! Just watch out it will blind you if you shine it the wrong wayWait really? Maybe I should return it then..
Tbh though I didn't really get it to candle, I probably can't hatch, at least for a long timebut more just saw it there and impulsively got it and it was a lot cheaper there than at other stores. And I've just always wanted one since I first saw it hahaha
I reallt wanna test it tbh. You know, see if it really goes 5 nautical miles, can be driven over, put in boiling water or ice, etc.![]()
BUT.
It does light the eggs up. I took really cool pictures but just deleted them haha
Awesome
Flu is NEVER fun. I"m glad you are recovering, I am sorry it's happening so slowly.Oddly enough, I only have 1 broody Silkie right now!![]()

It's in the 80's here right now, a pile of silkies just doesn't seem comfortable. But nobody will budge from the box. I am wondering how many babies I can give to the longest brooding group....
