Tbh though I didn't really get it to candle, I probably can't hatch, at least for a long time but more just saw it there and impulsively got it and it was a lot cheaper there than at other stores. And I've just always wanted one since I first saw it hahaha

I reallt wanna test it tbh. You know, see if it really goes 5 nautical miles, can be driven over, put in boiling water or ice, etc.

BUT.

It does light the eggs up. I took really cool pictures but just deleted them haha

I've got 12 to 15 silkies brooding right now. Egg laying is WAY down.

Oddly enough, I only have 1 broody Silkie right now!

I was looking at the same flashlight for a candler and it works amazing! Just watch out it will blind you if you shine it the wrong way

As many as you can hatch? lol... they don't seem to be able to count nor care how many that get added, usually...
