I’m still on the hunt for eggs to set but it’s not looking promising at the moment It’s still pretty chilly here at the moment so everyone’s hens are not quite in full flow.

Morning all We have about 10 inches of snow oddly enough my EE and OE are out walking in their chicken yard in it they are giving me lot's of laughing

We have snow forecast for next week The winds have just started to come from the east and it’s chilly!

I'm still wondering about eggs too. I actually have a rooster at this time. I've seen him get my Columbian Plymouth Rock a few times. Checked fertility in a NN egg. Looked fertile, just didnt ever see the action. Setting some eggs today to see what happens. I may just use my own, for a change, if they are fertile.

It is fun to use eggs from your own flock! I do not get to do that though...got rules here I have to follow...
