Hey, at least he's got fuzz! Look at my Bengalese/Society finch chick:

My Fawn Java finches are even worse! I had to hand rear them after their father attacked them, nipping off toes. It took me quite awhile to get used to their little, squishy, naked bodies!

Now that looks like a lot of work!
They can't walk around and eat/drink by themselves like chicks and ducklings, right?
How much time daily would you say they need?

Babies, baby things are generally pretty cute. Chicks are adorable.

This is one of mine. The shell was stuck to its head for a while. Wait, I said baby chicks are adorable.

Our area has the highest concentration of Wild Turkeys in the United States.
