We are suppose to set on Sat. at noon right?
16 of my own! Including a first egg from my cinnamon queen, are set. The roo hatched with her, so, if this pullet egg makes it, it will be a cinnamon queen. Not mixed. It's pretty small. It may not make it through, but hopefully i can tell if it starts. He's been mateting her for weeks, before she started laying. :/ Poor girl didn't care for that too much. Green ones are from my Nn.The ones I have in now are coming along great.
Please confirm when we should put our eggs in the incubator for chickens? The tenth?
This is the one I bought recently have not tried to hatch from it, the unit is all

I can’t think where but I’m sure I’ve seen on another thread that these one’s sometimes need insulating to keep the heat up. I will see if I can find it...
My cheap plastic one needs a constant eye kept on it. In the hot weather we've been having I've been having to turn it right down, then up again in the morning when it's cooler (mine just has a dial). In colder weather I've wrapped it in a blanket, and added a bottle of water as a heat sink. Thankfully quail eggs are tough.
