The adventures of Barbara (BR)

Hope your surgery goes well and you have a very quick recovery! We will all miss your wonderful stories about Barbara! Take care and best wishes!

I hope your surgery went flawlessly, MrsChickendad. How smart of you to have it done now, with little yard work to do! I'm so looking forward to hearing from you when the time's right.

Speckledhen, I hope you don't have arthritis in your ankle because of the break. I hope MrsChickendad won't have it, either. I have it in my back and I can think of a lot of things that are more fun. Like talking about chickens on BYC.

ETA: Okay. That's not a fair comparison because talking about chickens on BYC is more fun than a lot of other things. hehehe...

Thank you so much for your support. I spent one day in the hospital having my ankle fused. I had "end stage" arthritis in my foot bones. I'm not sure what "end stage arthritis" means, other than my feet were killing me! Now each day it will feel better, instead of getting worse.

We have seven sweet baby chickies who hatched last night, so I can watch chicken TV in the house! And the Big Girls and Leroy will always come up on the deck for treats. Maybe Barbara will pull one of her Barbara stunts! Chickendad just got home from the feed store with MORE layer crumbles. Those girls are eating us out of house and home . . .

Fuffy, sounds like you got the same storm we had in the states last week! It's still miserable here, but we are sending you some warmer temps for next week!

Speckledhen, that ankle break sounds REALLY painful! At least I had time to get used to the idea before I had to be laid up. I think our Chicken Men Husbands are worth their weight in gold!

Glad you are home and feeling better!!!!
