They might but then again they would be sitting ducks er geese for any pred that might like to swim out to her.

We had a cold snap last night & had to cover some trees. The geese might be more cold hearty than the trees.

Well they look like their doing scyronized [sp]swimming so it must be helping.

Are they really good weeders? I know you can't just turn them loose out in the newly grown garden stuff, but I have read where once the garden is established, they really are good about eating the weeds out of everything and not messing with the garden. . . .is this true? I would LOVE to have a pair, because i just love the looks of them, and wonder if they really would help me in that area?
