The African and Chinese goose thread!!

I Just got two 4 month old white Chinese geese and they have awesome personality and took to my 4 moth old toulouse goose like long lost brothers!
I am hoping my toulouse is male so I can get the chinese eggs this spring,
does anyone know of any chinese toulouse mixes because im very tempted to allow them to breed this spring

if the toulouse is a male and the chinese is a female you will get brown geese that look like a normal toulouse but have a knob that is never going to grow and your geese might get a black stip at the point of the beak

I finally found a Beau for Miz Claire Booth Goose.... He's an 8 year old, been the odd man out among 4 mated pairs.. and was picked on a bit by the biggest gander.. his left wing is deformed... so when I got him home, I took scissors to the wing tip feathers that stuck straight out from his side when he folded his wing... now he doesn't catch on so many things...
I have to say... his former owners were worried about how Clair would take to him.... you could just about HEAR her going 'hubba hubba' when I let him out of the crate in the hen house....
she spent all day yesterday following him around, talking to him, trying to preen his feathers... arching her neck and being pretty... (when she wasn't in the water making herself beeee yootiful)... and last night when I went to button up the house, he and she were in the straw side by side..


There she is preening his chest.... I hope he settles and gets comfy soon... the move and such really seem to have offended him.
