Her knob got bigger ,her dewelp and her lobe at the bottom of the goose and you have a nice goose and i see that you have showed the bird

I have 5 White African Dewlap geese. It's funny, I've been on BYC for awhile, but this is the first time I dropped in here. Here is an older pic that is readily available of our male looking proud. LOL.

After mating season the geese all run together. Here he is with a girl behind him, next to the sebbies and dewlap Toulouse, in front of "dragonfly" the blue Volkswagen.

I do separate for the breeding season, but all are still able to see each other. My geese start laying late january and go to june usually.
I try to keep the breeds pure so I know what I have. It is a lot of work! Adds a lot of time for daily care.
I try to offer pure breeds to those interested in adding to their flocks.

He is very handsome! I love my oldest gander Gee, a white chinese.

i only seperate my buff africans ,seen that they are rarer and i only have 5 buff africans and the browns are also rare but more common then the buffs and my brown africans stay with the flock to produce pure breeds and cross breds for the meat and white africans are just rare and cant seem to find them anywhere (Utah has a very nice white african :) )

Meyer hatchery carries them seasonally. My whites and brown Chinese came from a private breeder, but my African and Embden are from Meyer.
I had no luck finding a local breeder, so went with them. The breeder no longer keeps them, so now, I am on the search for more browns!
