I was finally able to get picks of my Roman tufted gander.see the two bulges that's what I was talking about.

Thanks! I have an issue. His sister got taken by a coyote. We put them all in before dusk and have a tall fence. Midday a coyote came in our yard after the chickens. It wasn't even scared of my husband....

Anyway... We picked up a Toulouse his age for him. Guess what...the toulouse rejected the gander and took up a relationship with a young rooster. She follows him everywhere...

I feel bad for my Gander. He's imprinted on me. I think he needs anther buddy. The toulouse pulled out his nick feathers

Thoughts?

They will eventually make buddies, but never hurts to add another goose hen!

I'm not familiar with the breed.. but honestly to me it looks more like a goose hen.
