What kind of comb does #6 have. I cannot tell if it is a rose comb or a single comb that has fallen to the side.
edited to add: for hatchery birds, leg colour is often off; if from a breeder it should be correct unless you purchased PQ, and then any or all faults are possible. Unless I saw a really dark egg, I would not say marans if the birds are from a hatchery. My hatchery barred rocks have had pink & black, not yellow legs, and have laid a light brown egg. A marans should lay at least a medium brown egg, even if from a hatchery.
