They were shipped priority. The Post Office just doesn't give a damn. They were not scanned once they left the original facility until they got to this post office.Just saw your post in the old folks home. So sorry. I know you were so looking forward to having the quail. I don't know who could be really at fault. If it was the po, or if the person you bought them off should have arranged a 48 hr or priority delivery maybe? It's still a long time for live animals in transit. I hope you get it sorted one way or another and get more quails. They are such lovely birds.

Damn the post office. When it comes to live animals there must be some kind of procedure they must follow. I know it wont replace the birds but I would try to cause them a real headache over this. I find that in UK it is normally better to use private courier for any parcels. It is normally cheaper and you get what you paid for. They are a lot more reliable as they actually want your custom and want you to come back. Our postal service is just as unreliable and have random delivery times.They were shipped priority.
