Thanks for the chick pics!
The spotted ones by Cheeto, they didn't really start to show the WHITE WHITE until they were about three weeks old. Funny that you ended up with mostly Buff chicks, as I have a lot of stripey Chipmunk "Sussex" type guys. It was just the random hatch timing! I didn't purposely send you all the yellows and hoard the chipmunkers, I swear! LOL!

And a note on the crazies? This is weird, since I've introduced the Sussex and Buff Rock, the new chicks are crazy-active as ever, but they are also SUPER friendly! Like Cheeto's babies on the pictures? They bounce all around, but they also bounce right into my hands, or perch on my shoulder.
The older chicks - the ones about four months old now - still let me pick them up and cuddle them! This is 100% different from the previous generation of Alohas. So the new crosses are very alert and active, but way more tame and accepting of being handled. It is so cute to have a half Aloha, half Sussex roo literally run to me for a treat and then I hug him.
