The American Cemani Breeders Club...open forum

I recently had one that had some small black spots in it. Also just had a hatch hatch out five days early. No clue what happened there but we collect eggs twice a day and eggs stay in a room that's about 60 and they get turned twice a day as well. So weird.

If they were in an incubator and it was set a little too hot (but not so hot as to kill the embryos), that will cause the chicks to hatch a little early. The same goes if it is set a little too cool, they will hatch a little later. Also, I find that the smaller breeds/eggs tend to be the first to hatch.

Gqf digital incubator n digital hatched. They are spot on with temps. That's y I'm so confused. I have hatched atleast a thousand birds and have never seen this. And only a couple hatched early. I'm going to be real confused when the rest hatch out on time. Lol.
