The American Paint Silkie

these are a few that I have for sale, paint cockerels and they can be delivered to the north eastern poultry congress in springfield mass this weekend if pre paid (i'm not going but I have a ride for them to the show)






number 36 and 44 are available, if i don't have payment by wednesday nite, then the green band boy is back up for sale.
PM me if interested. I need this to be paid for by thursday noon so they can leave on friday with the driver.

I hatch paints all the time, and I got disappointed when I ended up with a white chick, BUT to my pleasant surprise a few days ago, the same chick that is now 6-7 weeks old is spotting up very nice. Yes they can be white and spot as they grow, just like they can have very faint spots and they get very progressive later as they mature :-)
 
Here's my little paint girl (I hope it's a girl). Do you guys think she is a she? These pictures were taken at 3 months and 1 week old.











Oh a quick side note, that is dust on her shoulders and neck - her white is sparkling pure white when she is clean.

You should expect a percentage of chicks without the spots.
