When are everyone's paints starting to lay/crow? I think my quad is between 6-8 months old, and I'm impatiently waiting!

I thought I was going to have to beat one of my males off the girls. They screaming for their lives

That's good to know! I think 3 of them are males (I go back in forth between one of them), so I've been wondering why they aren't starting to crow. I expected it to be another couple of months before I saw an egg though. I'm ready for some paint babies!

Mine started to lay about three months AFTER they looked like the ones in your photo. They were looking fully mature before they laid, for a month or two.

I have got to sit down with her book tonight and read through it again. I knew that was in there and have been meaning to but you know how life can get in the way.
