The American Paint Silkie

Dwegg... did you go to Conyers?.. I bought a paint yesterday too.. the breeders were extrememly patient and explained to this relative Silkie newbie all about the Paints.. I will get a picture of my new baby - I got one of the older chicks (well two more lavendars as well..lol) and of course WISH I had picked up a few paints from the youngest group in the aquarium...

Yes I did go to Conyers yesterday...it was fun and I did get my paints from the same guy...he had lots of silkies of all ages...couldn't believe he had paints to sell! Awesome luck...

I held his big buff silkie roo and he was so sweet and gentle and sat in my arms and crowed and crowed, it was too funny!

If I didn't have 2 doz eggs coming for the bator this month I would have snapped up a lot more of his silkies...

My two paints are actually a lot more prettier than what those pics show...I was down starring at them all night in the brooder!
