Hi everyone,
Gosh my computer has been down and I missed a lot of messages.....trying to catch up.
I'm sure I wasn't missed much......I don't post often but thought since I'm up and working again I'd send a pic of one of my little bearded Paint Showgirls.
I don't get around to posting much as I said, but I am sure busy trying to raise some nice Paints.
None I have raised are old enough to breed yet and I still have lots of questions but I AM working on it!
Elite Silkies and I are in cahoots on these birds and I hope Cammy is saving me a good Black roo for some of my girls. [HINT to Cammy]
Thanks everyone for sharing your pics and knowledge with us all.
If I can get the little darlings to stand still enough I'll post more pics.....does everyone else find the Paints to be extra busy, active, healthy chicks??? And hatch like popcorn????
Lots of fun raising these cuties!!!
I'm on a roll now with pictures, Don't know much about the Blue Paints but I am getting a few.
Here is one of my chicks, terrible pic I know but you can see it is clearly Blue not Black
Are they considered with favor or not acceptable, I think they are sure pretty
Also got a couple gorgeous color Blue Silkies from my Paint roo Cisco

That's one of the most notable things about the paint chicks. They are very robust and out and about so shortly after hatch. I noticed it with my first batch and thought it was a fluke but every one has produced fiesty, independent little fuzz butts.

I should be producing some pretty nice offspring in about 4 to 5 months
They are Sunshine Silkies bloodline and are pure Black to Black breeding. I will be keeping them that way too, since it took me forever and a day to get them, lol.
