"The Animals Eat Before You Do"!

Would get mobbed if I'd try to have breakfast or dinner before the cats and dogs.....So everybody gets fed before humans are allowed to eat.....

Yuppers, the unfeathered two legs here are the last to be feed. I do make DH coffee before I head out the door, but if it is just me - even coffee waits.

When I was growing up my brother and I had to get up at 6 to feed the animals while mom cooked breakfast. NOW I have 2 cups of coffee and THEN feed the animals...its still 6 by the time I get out there, they arent going without by any means.

Now that I have to think about it.... yep, all the critters eat before we do. I need to reschedule here!

Feeding order in our house.
Dogs
cats
fish
DH lunch for work
then outside for the outdoor animals
then back inside to feed the other kids and myself

couple days a week the new baby in the house desids which order they are fed because if she starts cryin for milk I have to sit and feed her cause I am her milk supply hehe.

It sounds like we were all trained well! LOL

I think growing up with animals really teaches you discipline. I grew up having to get up and around early no matter what. It didn't matter how I felt, the weather, the day of the week, nothing! I am actually really thankful for it now.

I was raised the same way and still practice the same. They get food and water before I unless I am awake at some outrageous hour in the morning. Then they wait till about 5:30 am.
