Rusty heard his brother's growl and turned to see what was happening with wide eyes. "G-Gerald!" He cried in fear.Gerald watched trying to hide. The wolf started going to their den. Suddenly, Gerald remembered something. Whip! Their sibling was still sleeping inside. Thinking the large wolf was danger, he decided to be brave. Jumping out of his hiding he ran towards the much larger wolf and sunk his tiny helpless teeth into one of it's ankle. Gerald growled as if he was actually able to do something.
The larger wolf looked at Gerald. He opened his big mouth and picked up the young pup. Suddenly, Gerald realized how foolish he had been for going after a much larger wolf. He started yipping in fear and tried getting wiggling out of the adult wolf's gentle jaws. The adult wolf chuckled and carefully say Gerald down. Before Gerald could run, the adult put his paw down so he couldn't run. "Son, why are you not in the den?"
