“Okay,” she whispered and continued her licking. She tried to be extra gentle.
Timmy could tell that she was being gentler. "Thank you." He whispered as he laid his head on his paws. He could feel tiredness coming over him, and refused to sleep.

"You're welcome." Blazer said, then looked at his daughter who was cleaning Álfr's fur. "Stay with her." He told Hilina before turning to walk away. He found an old piece of bark, which he used to fill up with water and brought it back over to Álfr for her to drink.

Timmy was watching all the other wolves cautiously. "Try to keep the peace." He said very quietly taking Blazer's warning seriously. He knew, one wrong move, and the wolves here could easily destroy him and Hazel without a second thought. He decided it best to act more like an Omega just to protect himself. "Not really. They're the Sayuki Pack. I'm from Tashiro, so they're more of enemies." Timmy was basically whispering in fear of the much bigger, stronger pack.
Álfr woke slowly and drank some of the water. She yawned, her fur was dry now and fluffy again, all signs of how thin she really was hidden by the fluff. She didn't seem at all like the wolf that had had a breakdown just a little while before.

Owl watched the two wolves carefully. He knew nothing save that one of them was from the Tashiro pack. And that it was the wolf that had hurt the Tashiro beta.

Dreki saw the sun beginning to rise and started looking for a place to roost. He never had a set place in mind. He saw a waterfall with a cave behind it and dove in. In two flaps of his leathery wings, he was hanging from the ceiling of the cave, preening himself before going to sleep. He took little notice of the wolves in there.

Hazel was almost finished when he legs started to twitch and shake. She ignored it and kept going.
Even though he was trying not to, Timmy accidentally dozed off. He'd been through a lot, so he couldn't help himself.

Blazer was nearby to Álfr laying down watching her. He didn't say much, just silently watched her.

Hilina was now somewhere else in the cave licking her own paws.
