Dreki's sensitive ears flicked toward her and he looked at her with his large eyes. His foxlike face cocked to one side.

Hazel’s eyes widened as she noticed it was staring at her.

(Did you know there are bats that have 5-6 foot long wingspans? From one wingtip to the other. The only bats I like are the white fluffy ones, the northern ghost bats. I don't totally fear them, normal bats, (not the fluffy white ones,) one night I went around the yard with a bucket on my head because we thought he was diving at our heads.)
