Sherbert stopped at the place a little sullen seeing as he hadn't followed her. She sat for a minute, collecting herself before crossing so her packmates didn't suspect anything.

Owl sat next to Jock, watching after the female. Why hadn't he followed her? Owl wondered quietly.
 
Jock watched as Sherbert crossed with a slightly sad look on his face. "Bye. Pretty lady." He thought to her, then turned and started walking away in the forest with his head down lower than usual.
