"No, I will be staying with Timmy. He's my mate, and that's not changing." Hazel told him confidently.

"We'll see..." Jax said under his breath.
Timmy smiled at what Hazel had said, but didn't look at either. He soon was done cleaning that one wound, so he slowly stood up. He gave Hazel an approving glance of what she had said, then turned. He started walking to a different spot to finish cleaning himself while the two talked.

Hazel watched Timmy leave. She wished she could have followed, but she could tell he was not wanting her to. She wished her brother would leave her alone.

Jax also watched Timmy leave.

"Jax, I do want you to be in my life, but this has got to stop," Hazel started. "If it's you against Timmy, it will be Timmy. Every time. I'm staying with him, and that's final."

Jax acted as if what she said didn't affect him, but it did. He stood up, "fine," he said under his breath. He walked back over to Korrin and laid down next to her.

Timmy laid down in the spot that he had walked over to and started cleaning himself. He eves dropped on the conversation. He smiled about what Hazel was saying, and it gave him confidence. It did discourage him what Jax was saying, though. He started plotting up something to say to Jax if he ever got to talk to him privately.

Hazel laid her head down on her front paws. She hoped what she had said was the right thing.

Timmy soon finished all of his cleaning. He laid on his paws and placed his head on his front ones. Looking around, he noticed Hunter. He soon found himself staring hard at the sleeping wolf.

Hazel wanted to get out of the cabin. It felt suffocating.

Just as the sun rose, Hunter woke up and yawned loudly. He stood up and realized that Timmy was watching him. Seeing Timmy was the first he rescued, he walked right over to him. "Good morning Timmy. You look like you're doing better." He said to Timmy kindly.

Timmy looked at Hazel, then to Jax. "Yes. Thank you." He said quietly to Hunter. "It appears like this cabin belongs to some other wolves?" Timmy asked looking in Jax's direction.

Hunter smiled. "Well. It doesn't exactly belong to anybody. It's just a nice place of refuge again Mountain Lions like last night." Hunter said with a wink.

Timmy smiled, though he still wasn't comforted. Jax was still there.

Hazel's ears moved as she listened in to their conversation.

"Do you hunt?" Hunter asked Timmy. Timmy looked up at Hunter. "Doesn't every wolf hunt?" Timmy asked. Hunter laughed. "Yeah. I suppose so! I guess I should of asked if you wanted to hunt." "Oh." Timmy replied and put his head on his paws again. "Come on. Your mate can come to if you're feeling up to hunting."

Hazel looked over to them. She quickly brought her face back down to her paws trying to hide the fact that she was eavesdropping. "I don't hunt" she thought to herself. She thought back to when she hunted for Timmy. One of the first ever times she had hunted.
