Hunter's teeth was just sinking in when he saw the herd quickly coming for them. Lifting up his head fast, he yelled at Hazel, "Run."
Hazel bolted.

Jax noticed Hazel and Hunter. He tried to lead the deer away, but they wouldn't follow him. "No, no, no, no, no," he repeated in his mind.

Khali woke up again but this time slowly. When she opened her eyes, she saw how bright it was getting in the den. She was very surprised so she got up slowly. She lightly limped away from Caiden, over to the entrance of the den, and shook herself out and stretched. She sat down at the entrance and started licking her leg. Her limp was going away but she still decided to try to help it heal fully.
Caiden snorted a little in his sleep when Khali got up, but he quickly went back to snoring. He started drooling some as he slept.

Korrin: I used to do it myself. And I got caught every time. Do you know what your grandmother used to tell me when I did??

Kenai: no, what'd she say?
"Really? Oh. What?" Becky asked starting to get excited.

Hunter followed Hazel occasionally looking back. Seeing the deer wasn't giving up the chase, even though he let go of the young deer, Hunter stopped to grawl threatenly at the deer. He was looking to protect Hazel.

Timmy stood up because he thought the deer was all past him. One last deer leaped over him and accidentally kicked him down. He yepped in pain, though he wasn't hurt too badly.

Khali finished licking her leg and went onto her fur. She was a very tidy wolf so she felt like she had to clean her fur a lot.
Caiden stirred a little, but kept snoring.

Khali finished cleaning her fur and walked over to Caiden to wake him up. "Caiden," She said in a contented, loud voice.
Caiden stirred a little, though he kept snoozing away, obviously.

Hazel was freaking out. She was shaking so hard that it was slowing her down.

Jax had ran fully out of the way of the deer. He ran to Timmy. "Come on," he yelled, "Hazel's in trouble," he thought of his sister first. "And Hunter.." he thought to himself.
