(Oh!)

“Nothing” he said. “He looked worried about something”

(Should they still stay there or?)
"Oh." Hilina said and looked at Alexander. He was licking Baxter as if he was now trying to ignore them or something. Hilina started worrying that they had offended him, but she didn't know what they did.

(Doesn't matter to me. :) )

Hato tried sitting the ice on the ground and used his paw to try to get it unstuck. When he did that, it hurt his tongue a little and he whinned confused by the situation.

Caiden soon spotted the elk. "There they are!" He called a little too loud.
*Tallulah wasn't sure how to get the ice u frozen from her mate either.*

Tallulah: maybe try breaking on the ice instead???

*nana sent him a warning look before looking quickly to see if they heard or not.*

"Ab-e." Hato replied through the ice. He hit it gently on a nearby tree. It didn't break, but it did give him an idea. He placed it on the opposite side of the tree that he was on and pulled back. The ice pulled on his tongue and he yelped a little, but the tree did get him free of the ice. Hato stepped away from the ice with his tongue hanging out a little.

Caiden chuckled nervously with a nervous smile.

*nana p4icked her ears and snuck forward. It wasn't hard to pinpoint the injured target, but both of them needed to be in a good place to start the hunt first.*

Tallulah: you ok??

Caiden followed Nana closely behind.

Hato nodded. "Eh." Hato said with his tongue still out a little.

"Yeah." Alexander said watching his pup Baxter. "I'll keep my mouth shut, but just be careful." Alexander replied to King not even looking at him and keeping his voice down low.

Hilina tilted her head. She was confused and she worried about what they did or said wrong.

“Oh, ok..” he said, standing up, and motioned to Hilina to follow him. Once they were far enough, he asked “Do you know what we could have done wrong? Or what I could have done wrong?”

Hilina caught King's hint, and followed him away. "I don't know." She replied a little worried, yet a little thankful she wasn't the only one in the dark about the whole situation. She thought a little. "Maybe he's upset because it might be easier for me to get permission to have pups than it was for him?" Hilina said thinking about the whole situation. "After all, he started acting funny around the time you came back wondering where my father was."

Somewhere on the Northwest side of Deer Head Mountain, three wolves moved silently around a strange place. The oldest wolf out of the three snorted with discontent at the old scent of the two-leggeds on everything he smelled. The youngest wolf, on the other hand, wagged her tail enjoying the unfamiliar smell of danger. The remaining wolf of the three stared into a foggy window of the abandoned cabin curious of what might be inside. He could faintly smell the scent of canned food inside, but it wasn't enough to desire to go in.
