The Antler Mountains ~A Wolf RP~

Alexander searched for Uhtred for several minutes. A familiar scent of a coyote perched Alexander up. He picked up his pace and, "Macaw!" he called seeing the Loner coyote. Macaw stopped and looked. "Why if it isn't Alexander. What's happening?" "Looking for a Loner, but a wolf, not a coyote." Alexander replied all happy to see his secret friend. "What for? Loners only carry diseases and trouble." Macaw joked. "Besides, there's that big wolf-eating Loner out there." "What?" Alexander stopped. "Yeah. He's a big guy. Not even from these parts. He's- wait," Macaw sniffed Alexander. "Have you seen him?" "Uhtred?" Alexander replied. "No. I think his name is Ted." Macaw answered. "Oh, I'm not sure. A big Loner paralyzed my Alpha, Blazer." Alexander told Macaw. "What?" Macaw yepped loudly in shock.
"Yeah." Alexander replied. "Any ideas on what to do?" Macaw stopped and thought. "Ahh... Let's see..." Macaw thought out loud as Alexander listened. "How'd the Loner do that?" "He bit Blazer's back," Alexander replied, "but I can't quite figure it out, though. How'd one bite do that?" Macaw sniffed the ground then replied to Alexander, "He must of bit in the right spot. He must of knew where to bite, too. Must be because he eats wolves. I bet-" "Wait, why do you think he eats wolves?" Alexander interrupted.

Macaw looked up. He was slightly surprised that Alexander didn't know. "There was a long lost dog that used to tempt wolves into the valley..." Macaw started off with the rumor. "And the wolves never came back. Later, in a two-legged cabin, all the fur of the missing wolves was found in that cabin, and..." Macaw paused for suspense. "That Loner had been living there! And you and I both know why he left! He left to find more wolves to eat because no other wolves dared to come near!"

Alexander stepped back in shock. Then he paused because something didn't seem quite right about Macaw's story, but he wasn't sure what it was.

Gerald continued to watch Whip and plotted how he was going to get back at her.
"It doesn't really matter to me. " Blazer replied. "He probably doesn't really know what he's doing anyways. " Blazer complained.

Ted nodded a little bit. "I've seen worse." He said as he got up. "But they weren't wolves."
Whip, oblivious was curled up asleep, the events of the day had taken a toll on her mentally and she was no longer interested in her brothers antics.
Álfr saw her son plotting on a passed glance and lifted a lip, growling warningly at him. She whimpered some at Blazer’s seeming loss of hope.

Uhtred cocked his head, confused.

Gerald lowered his hackles and pretended to be innocent. Deep inside, he wasn't. He still plotted.
Blazer looked at Gerald knowing he was the trouble. "Can't you just stop for once?" He asked Gerald angerly.

Ted started walking towards the Bobcat River. He listened to see if Uhtred was going to question him, or follow him.

"Ok." Alexander finally said. He wasn't sure if he should believe Macaw, even though he did know Ted was dangerous. "Back to Blazer. What can I do?" Macaw chuckled in a weird way, "Hire the Loner to finish him off in revenge for your brother?" "I'd like to." Alexander replied and looked away. He sighed then said, "Macaw, I don't know what I'm doing. I'm angry at both the Alphas, but I can't just up my family and go somewhere else. I've thought of trying to take over Sayuki Pack, but I could never fight Álfr and I couldn't ask my mate to help me."

Macaw tilted his head listening. "What would of Hunter done?" He asked. "Hunter banished Blazer from the pack!" Alexander quickly replied. "Blazer was the Beta male and Hunter banished him for what he had done! It was winter, and Hunter had left us with the sick and weak wolves while he and the rest go find food. And just before Hunter got back," Alexander raised his voice in anger, "Blazer kills one of the weakest wolves and claims it was in accident! That wolf had a bad limp and was getting worse, and Blazer attacked him for no reason." Alexander stopped and looked away. He was upset. Very upset. He then quietly added, "I was in charge of helping all the weak and sick wolves, and I did nothing." He put his ears back in shame. Alexander was a coward, and he knew it.

Macaw was silent. He had known the whole story. He came over to Alexander and licked his ear hoping to comfort him. "I wish I had known my father." Alexander whispered. "My mother used to say he was the bravest, smartest, fastest and most daring wolf in the whole mountain range before she had passed away. The two-leggeds had pointed their loud sticks at him when I was just a pup. Maybe if I had known him better, I'd be better at standing up to others."

Macaw stepped back and nodded."Well," Macaw said quietly, "I'm willing to help wherever I can." He smiled with his little coyote teeth. "Thanks, my best friend." Alexander told Macaw. Macaw frowned and ruined the comforting scene and said in a displeased tone, "Only. I'm your only friend." With that, Macaw hopped off in his weird way. If wolves had eyebrows, Alexander would of just raised one in his confusion. Then he shook his head thinking, "I'll never quite understand coyotes." He decided he should head back now, so he did it sluggishly.

Whip looked up at that and growled gently at her father, she didn’t much care for her brother but didn’t like her fathers tone.
Álfr turned sharply to Blazer, “I know you’re in pain but you’re not going to take it out on the pups,” she said.

“What do you mean,” Uhtred said, still confused and standing to trot up to him.

Tayuga had continued following Hunter but Chandi had apparently wandered off again as he now knew the direction he had to go and was entirely too confident in his abilities to get himself back home.

Gerald put his ears forward and moved around like he wasn't going to be seen.
Blazer closed his eyes. "They just won't ever stop fighting." He complained.

"Try being locked up somewhere and having the dangerous poke things at you." Ted replied. "Try being in a ring where your enemies are bigger than you and want to kill you as loud cheering goes on all around and terrible smells." Ted paused. "Try being the only wolf in a dog fight." He said quietly more to himself, though Uhtred could hear.

Hunter stopped again to check in on Tayuga. He hadn't yet noticed that Chandi wasn't with them yet. "You still doing ok?" He asked.
