RoostersAreAwesome's, or mine? His color is Pumpkin all right. Genetically he does not seem to be Pumpkin since he lacks any game ancestry, he is likely just a pumpkin colored cockerel(beautiful color by the way).

Yours..!RoostersAreAwesome's, or mine?
I was talking about their D'uccle mix. But thanks for the confirmation on mine.Yours..!
He is a Pumpkin Color, but I don't believe he is genetically pumpkin... Why do you keep butchering interesting colored cockerels? Find them a home...!Only other picture of him I have when he was young. He was butchered last year
I didn't really want to butcher him. I did try to rehome him. The Guinea Cock terrorized him badly. He is a Pumpkin Color, but I don't believe he is genetically pumpkin... Why do you keep butchering interesting colored cockerels? Find them a home...!

Due to the Columbian gene, or does something else make him not genetically pumpkin?
That's interesting about Butters. He was from my Wheaten Crele Orpington project.I would not keep Guinea fowl even if they were free or if I had the room, they are too noisy for me, their meat taste like Pheasant and don't lay nearly enough...
I suspect he is Wheaten at the e locus(eWh/eWh, the best and only locus for Self Buff birds), Columbian(Co/Co, like New Hampshires) he is lacking Pg(required to have a nice pattern on hackle/saddle) and he seems to be lacking any type of red enhancers(New Hampshires have red enhancer Mahogany and gold diluter Di)
