Partridge Males are what you would call Black Breasted Red/Gold or Wild-Type

For example Partridge Brahma

None of the parents display a partridge phenotype
I know that.

The hen does, I just need to get better pictures. She has partridge lacing through out her body, just not dark like you'd be used to seeing.

What Phenotype is this boy? Same patterning, he was partridge patterned as a chick.

The original bird I asked about hatched out solid dark blue.

The hen really does not have a proper Partridge phenotype she is columbian restricted with some pattern on her body. eb/eb really plays a part. There is no Partridge phenotype on females without eb/eb

Beautiful pattern, Red body with lighter saddles and hackels, the hackle shows the effect melanotic

She was all partridge down as a chick, all my EEs were. Nothing suggested Columbian, which kind of confuses me abit now.

So, that's why there's a black ring on his neck.
Named him Pheasant based on his coloring.
