How dose the porcelain gene work? Why when you breed Millie Fleur to porcelain you get Mille Fleur? Do those chicks carry a lavender gene?

How would you get salmon colored D’Uccles? What color(s) of D’Uccles would you have to breed to a bantam salmon faverolle to achieve this color?
Porcelain is just Mille Fleur with recessive lenver. So the F1s look Millie Fleur but have lavender hidden.

What would the result be if these two were crossed?

Black Mottled x Dominant White = White ... those F1's bred back to the Black Mottled parent, would they still be White, or would Black start showing up?

Alternatively, if the F1 Whites were bred together and it was the F2 Whites crossed back to the Black Mottled grandparent, would any be black?

Black mottled x Dominant White = Paint(mostly white with some black flecks)

F1 bred back to black mottled would produce 50% Paint(heterozgyous dominant white, some of those will have mottling) 50% Black(50% of the blacks will be mottled)

Oh Wow! I didn't realize. Cool!

I have some eggs in the bator now from Leghorn hens and Clifford the Black Mottled English Orpington. I had just been thinking "big eggs" and wondered how to get the progeny back to a cool color. But Paint is great! Thank you!
