How can you tell whether a bird is silver/silver or gold/gold (for females)? Is it like a one size fits all kind of thing? Or is it harder to tell on some birds?

Females can only be Silver/- or Gold/-, But Silver Females can also be Red Enhanced. e allele will also play a powerful effect. For example Wheaten. Silver Wheaten hens will show alot of gold tones
