@nicalandia are white silkies that hatch from a paint pen all dominant whites?
There is a High degree of probability that they are. But keep in mind that the recessive white mutation can hide on a colored line for generations so some paint lines might hide recessive white.
 
I have a black crested mutt chicken(think legbar crest) she passed it to her young daughter (daddy Is Rhode island) , would the crest follow through to the grand daughter (3rd gen). I know silly question but I think the crest is cute so I'm curious. This is the daughter of the mutt and the Rhode island.

50% Chance since this is a simple autosomal dominant mutation
 
The whitish chick is feathering out to be Wheaten.

@nicalandia if a white is hatched from two black parents that came from paint pens would that white be recessive or dominant?
