My Heritage Plymouth Barred Rocks can fly up about 6ft to the highest roost.

They are usually good sized birds, too! One of my Black Copper Marans tries to get up high with the Cream Legbar but she is a big bottom girl and can't quite get there.

Can you figure out what's happening to SassyPants?
She's genetically black with smallest amount of red leakage in the hackles. She's 2yrs, old.
I know she's not being effected by vitiligo, that happens to young birds between 6-14 weeks if they have it.

She's molting into a smokey blue, & white bird.(Will get full body pictures tomorrow) Bad lighting, so pictures aren't the best quality.

Here are her parents.

the mother is molting currently, so I can get updated pictures of her when she's finished. (Note: She has at least 4-5 (almost) solid white flight feathers on each wing)

It seems like spangling to me.. But it could also be Mottling. both might look identical

Do you have a theory of what maybe happening?

Planning on breeding her, to see if her offspring inherit this.

She is just a mix of genetic mutations..
