I have a few odd questions but I don’t know who else to ask so here it is. I have 2 EE in my flock, one Rooster, one hen. I hatched them from local fertilized eggs. He is my only rooster. I do not know if they were hatched from the same hen but they definitely have the same dad. I was told they are Blue Amerucauna Rooster with Isabel Amerucauna Hens. They both hatched from blue eggs. My hen just started laying and she lays lovely little blue eggs.
My question is what are the dangers of incubation her fertilized eggs in the future if they share a dad and may share a mom? If it is okay to breed them will they have blue eggs if they are from the birds they say they are from?
I have pictures of both birds. My rooster has a lot of ”blue” but red on wings and gold neck And saddle feathers. The hen is almost all black with a few white speckles on her neck.
All of my other girls lay brown eggs, if they bread with my rooster will they have a mix of eggs?
Will all of his offspring have a beard, is that dominant?
I will have to get a better picture of the rooster tomorrow, here is a couple weeks ago front view. The black one is my hen.
