The "Ask Anything" to Nicalandia Thread

Probably won't hurt to add extra vitamins to the water, just to rule it out.

He's not having any issues at the moment and hasn't for about a month now, so I'm not sure how that would rule anything out. I prefer not to add things to my birds' water unless completely necessary, personally.

Sir, help me look at this young rooster. Recently, I learned that a rare recessive white will leak out buff and red colors. I didn't see those small black spots on it. Could it be the red shoulder effect caused by recessive white.

A wise decision.

Our breeding stock should be the healthiest and most vigorous of our birds. :)
Mine's like that, have an OEGB rooster that's almost ten years old. He's one of my originals, who I'm gonna let pass away naturally like my other two old hens.

I also breed in lots of vigor, into my birds. Even if they have a small issue/flaw but have other great qualities, I still breed them. But if it's an obvious health issue(Genetic), I generally wouldn't breed them.
