The "Ask Anything" to Nicalandia Thread

Nicalandia, at first glance (assuming these are full blood pheonix) what would you say is making the two lighter colors? The dark one should just be a regular gold duckwing.

They all still have the chipmunk pattern, but in red-light, the lightest one looks completely white

At first glance, I'd guess a blue and a splash for the light ones (as in, blue gold duckwing and splash gold duckwing, not solid blue or splash.)

My alternate guesses for the lightest one would be dominant white (something like red pyle color) or recessive white (would feather out completely white.)

I don't know what colors the parents are, to know what the actual possibilities are.

Huh. Definitely no blue or splash parents, nor dominant white. I'm thinking the medium one is going to look like my dun or khaki. My recessive whites always hatch out either only white or white with brown polkadot. This is the second light one I've ever hatched, the first having been eaten by a racoon last year with his mom, but his brother is old enough to breed and has a slate colored chest. One of my ketwas looked like this and turned into a white and red bird, but they haven't been anywhere near these pheonixes

I'll be tagging them tomorrow if they're still doing okay so I can keep track of them more easily
