Next hunt- a cat and baby chick getting along
Well, good morning. Many hours later , but I do have this one. Our cat, Bitty, has always thought each batch of keets or chicks were her babies, and would sleep on top of the brooder. We call them her chittens.

How far away does spring seem now....it smells like winter out there, bleak and cold.

Next- Any pullet that has not reached point of lay OR a cockerel (male chicken under 1 year of age)

these chicks were 6 weeks old on this day when they experienced their first grass and sun.

They were my very first chickens here in MO. If they aren't too old to be considered chicks, then
