Well, I was hoping someone else would chime in here. But since it has been almost 2 hrs, here's my hen Rocky. She became a terrible bully. After 3 times bloodying other chickens, I turned to BYC for advice and learned about Pinless Peepers. They are plastic blinders than snap onto the nostrils and prevent pecking. The chicken can still eat, drink, and roost. It really stopped her from pecking. Completely. It was peepers or the crock pot, and I'm glad I tried the peepers.

After about 3 months, I removed them. She was reformed! She was still top hen, but no longer hurt any of the others. This may not cure every bully, but Rocky became a benevolent leader until her death by a predator last year.
