I’ve been busy too, just kinda letting the hunt trudge along, checking in when I can. I don’t think there’s any reason to shut it down though. I think it’ll pick back up after first of the year.

I’d like to share a picture as well, This is Blue, the white leghorn. She is WILD! I managed to corner her, and haven’t put her down since, trying to tame this crazy thing. She didn’t seem too happy to have been finally caught...

Now, if your wondering why a white chicken is named Blue, don’t question it.

Anyone else have birds that are wild/hard to catch? Or a chicken glaring/being mad at being caught?

None of mine like to be picked up. Even little Moonshine, who willingly will hop onto my lap for a treat, hates being picked up, and I can only catch her if she's broody or roosting.

Anyone have a pic of a bird on your lap/shoulder/arm/or being held (willingly or no)

My OEGBs were always the sweetest, and only ones that would happily hop on me.

How about holding another fowl, non-chicken.
