Oh, they're gorgeous! Getting big, too!

The babies look horrible right now due to molting. So no pictures anytime soon.

They have been practicing flying. Basically running on their toes when flapping. But they are so proud of themselves. Shimmer did get a good headwind and freaked herself out by actually flying. She got 5-6 feet in the air for about 20 feet before she turned sharply and crashed. She looked shocked and the others just stared at her for a few seconds and than ran to her honking. Silly babies. I can believe that I have only had the 12 weeks.

My two like to use the drive way to play take off. It’s so cute they just barely leave the ground but they get so excited. I bet that was shocking for her to actually get lift then crash land. lol

Isn't it cool to see them 'flying'!! Pearl did a huge jump + flap combo this morning and actually got airborne for a minute, before dropping like a brick. Silly birds.

Missy will do the jump flap when she gets excited about treats!! They really are a hoot!

Most of the time shimmer will get 6-12 inches off the ground when running down the incline in the back yard. But she is getting better. This am she got about 3-4 feet off the ground and landed gracefully.
