Like most though I fell for the trap and ordered 16 more 12 weeks later and now have 22 hens instead of 15ish I wanted.

Can you elaborate on that some more?
Why would you be required to buy more chicks if they are replacing there mistake?

Yes, I am glad mine made it, I don't mind eating any sized bird, (I didn't get any bantams) I was just homing for some not real huge birds, because if I kept any I don't like a real big bird on my hens. Also if I get any interesting roosters I don't want to keep, I can offer some to friends. It is nice to get fresh genes in the valley.

My guess is they would give you a discount on your next order. I ordered chickens years and years ago, they still have my records, if I had bird credit I could have used it.

Yes, they give credit on your next order. Ours where 90 days later +\-. I think they have the credit for a year maybe 6 months I don’t recall now. Like was said, they make you pay the shipping. Discount on shipping more then 15 chicks too. I should have just ordered the difference as CX this would have saved the shipping and would meet less in the egg flock, but.....

I have the very active males in a chick hut inside the chicken coop below is a pic of the chick hut when it was outside, it is now inside..MAKE SURE YOU READ HUT IS IN COOP!!!!.

the small hut is in this big coop, with the door open... small hut is heated. (bolted heat lamps.)

Not everyone has names yet, the little one with the ruff navel is named "Peawee". My 2 female blue andelusians are named Chrystal and Suede. (not pictured.)

I named the other blonde buff chick Tuffy, every time I put my hand in the brooder he runs up to see what is going on.

People could say, "that will be an aggressive rooster... but I pick him up every time he does it. If he doesn't like to be picked up, he will stop running up, but so far, he likes to be picked up.
