Hello! :frow This is my thread to post updates, stories, pictures and more about my backyard in spring.

I own chickens, fish, and a rabbit.
Lots going on!

Just recently I moved my new rabbit outside to his hutch. He is adorable! I have a busy/noisy house and he seems to enjoy his life much more outside. He is a male and he is neutered. I adopted him from a shelter a little over 1 week ago. So far he is a great fit and I'm enjoying him!

My six chickens are very funny!

I have a WAY OVERSIZED Buff Orpington named CreamPuff. She is the craziest thing! :gigYou will soon find out why! (She weighs as much as a BO rooster usually ways! And she jogs instead of runs! All the others run.) :lau

Then comes Marshy and Kiwi. They are also Buff Orpington's.

The Golden Laced Wyandotte's are Melody, Dazzle, and Blamo.

(Right now I'm having a bullying problem. Poor Blamo is getting picked on mostly by Marshy and Kiwi. Melody isn't so bad, but still, I don't trust any of them with her except CreamPuff. She is very nice to Blamo. :)

Thanks! :)

I just went out and gave BunBun exercise out of his hutch. Then I went to see my chickens and gave them food and water. They are all adorable!

How to know if you scared your chicken.

1. your chicken drops the food it was just about to gulp down.
2. your chicken jumps.
3. (Make your own number three!)

This actually just happened with me and CreamPuff! LOL (She did both.)

Everything is going smoothly on the "farm". :)

Because of Covid 19, I'm going to get a little extra rabbit food. (Especially hay). I already got chicken food and the fish are fine. :) I'm just tired of not going places (I'm trying to stay home a lot because I DON'T WANT TO CATCH IT.)

I heard a nurse say: ..."it's pretty bad, don't under estimate it"....

This is Rainbow and Swimmer.

Hi there!

First off, I'm glad you like my pets! :D

No, your not the only one! I love celebrating their birthday. (Well, I've only done it twice. Once when I brought them home, and once when they turned 1 year old.)

Happy birthday Mari! 🥳

Well, the cake isn't really..... alright.

I just made it up.

1. Take a plastic container that can fit a block of suet.

2. Put the suet in, (my suet was "Berry blast" and then get plain or vanilla yogurt. (I used vanilla.)

3. Use the yogurt as "frosting" and cover the cake with it. (Use as much as you like at this point.)

4. Put bread crumbs on top.

5. Put it in the freezer.

6. Five or ten minutes before giving it to the chickens, take it out of the freezer.

7. Watch the girls enjoy it!

NOTE: Make sure you are not using suet that says "for wild birds only".
