I love my banty orps, but right now I need to get rid of a bunch! Anyone in N. Ca want a few blacks, maybe a blue? (I need to go through the blues, first LOL) Nice lines, excellent producers, set well, friendly (ok, cupboard love is involved and so are mealworms, but hey...)

Really do have too many and am getting heavier into the Seramas as well, so please...take home some of my birds! Don't want to butcher.

Sadly, I don't know what/whose llines they are. These came originally from friend of mine who was also a friend of the breeder, who had to sell out and finally just gave them to my friend--and I got the last four or five when the bobcat was eating them like peanuts, then a few more when SHE decided she no longer wanted the remainder.... So they're all related, but I don't know where they originated. I do know that when the name was mentioned at Stockton a few years ago by my friend, it was recognized with respect. For whatever good that does ya, anyway!

I would be thrilled to send some to a serious fancier of the breed; that's kind of why I kept them in the first place, to prevent the loss of this apparently quite good line. My friend, who is a LOT more chicken-savvy than I, helped me go through a couple of times to cull back, but other than that, what there is, is...what there is.

Please PM me and I'll be happy to set up a time/place for you to take a look--and I should be able to send you pictures soon as I get the new camera working.

I really want some bantam orpingtons! I have some LF orpingtons and absolutely love them! I'm looking for hatching eggs or chicks either one. Does anyone have any? I've tried a couple breeders with pages but am not getting any replies.

I am going to do a test hatch for Easter. After that I should have eggs!

If anyone is interested...........I have some bantam orp cockerels that are Jubilee Splits (Bantam Jubille rooster over black bantam hens). I am keeping the pullets from this cross to breed back to their father but have no use for the cockeresl. If someone can use them they are free. I have 3 right now. I can ship too. They are mostly black with gold on their breast and wing tips, they do show some mottling. Maybe be awesome for a project.
