The BANTAM ORPINGTON Thread

Hello from Missouri . I didnt even know there are this many colors for bantam orps , now Im hooked . Interested in any color hatchinf eggs .Im not on facebook
Welcome. I only have one bantam orp, but she gives us many stories & a lot of personality. She goes broody all the time.

I like your CCL. Mine doesn't look very good at the moment - due to molt & a poor camera angle.
Doesn't she look pathetic?
Have you noticed that CCL's are very 2-faced? (Can look stunningly beautiful or grumpy, evil depending on the camera angle. LOL)

Here's Dolores looking her worst. Missing crest, tail, & chest feathers. Comb's all deflated. Giving the angry eye.

Some of my bantams that are FINALLY at breeding age! Getting fertile eggs at hatching size, almost 2 dozen ready to incubate!

Do you sell any of your bantam orpington chicks or hatching eggs? I'm been looking but not finding any in my area.

Blue split to Chocolate male I'll be using for breeding, collecting eggs from his hens now.

My favorite Black hen, mother to the above pictured cockerel.

Absolutely beautiful! Your male is handsome & the female looks like a queen. (Or maybe she only thinks she is. Either way = trouble LOL) I love the little round, ball-like shape.

More pictures, this time of babies!
