The BANTAM ORPINGTON Thread

Well my BBS are laying the best they have laid in over a year. Both of the older hens stopped laying about Aug and had HARD molts. Lost almost every feather they had. Now they and their daughter is laying, I am averaging about 1.5 eggs a day.
 
They're here!! I have 16 little BOBs (and six "packing peanuts" Barr Rocks). Question? When will I be able to tell the males vs. females? How will I know?

WONDERFUL!

You may be able to see the cockerels combs turning red. However, it is difficult to tell on Orpingtons. They mature a bit slower and it may take a few weeks to months. Post photos! We like photos!

The Barred Rocks. Were they large fowl or bantam? If large fowl, when's dinner!
