Candled the eggs today and they all look clear. I'll leave them in for a whille longer and look again. Try setting more when it's cleaned out.

I checked my eggs Sat. all my black bantams was clear, all choc was good and my std buffs I had 4 fertile out od 15 or 16 eggs. I have never started this bad. I have the feather's cut off and using young boys. I didn't have alot maybe 6 to 8 on the bantams. It was the first eggs after I cut the feathers.

Only one of my hens is laying, we've been in the 20's for a couple weeks.

Those eggs I checked are out of a young male I got new this year. I have your cock bird in with 2 choc pullets, I just cut there feathers this last week. We have some cold weather but so far they are still laying. Could be better, some is better than none. I just hope my black guys come around.
