Sumac sprinted through the tree line, until he reached the river. He stalked towards the bloody scene, until they reached two corpses and a dead wolf laying on the ground, all making faces of horror.

Ivy blinked back the salty tears that were forming in her eyes, not wanting to look weak. She knelt besides the bodies to double check that they weren't still alive, but she knew deep inside, that they had no hope. Ivy stumbled to a nearby tree stump and stared sadly into the distance, deep in thought.
