It’s older sisters, who I got photos of. They’re such friendly birds. I prefer the dark red of this top pullet but I’ve barely hatched any with her color.

Thank you! Now I've just got to think of names for her siblings I want to keep haha. I've been trying to do themes for each breeding project I've got going on- Cochin Bantams have drink/fruit theming. She has an aunt named Peach(short for Peach Green Tea Lemonade, my favorite Starbucks drink lol).

Just had to share a picture of Polly Pocket She is really shy and rarely poses for my pictures. She molted a lot of super dark feathers and came back a really pretty blue color

Seem to find Cochins to add even when I’m not trying! This is Fanny, our new addition A friend asked me to sell her cockerel and my daughter couldn’t stand to leave his girlfriend behind…so Fanny has joined the flock!

She came with the boyfriend but I’m determined not to fall for him so I can sell him

Ugh, not falling for cockerels, I wouldn't know anything about that! I have so many still from this year's hatches, literally no way I can keep all of them, but they're just such sweethearts.

Oh, to have more males than you need. I am in the same exact boat lol. At 2.5 months old or so, it seems most of my last 2023 hatch are boys Lol. I’ve got one keeper for next year out of the group though, I hope to start separating pens and doing one on one breedings when Spring/Early Summer rolls around.

I just love how pretty the splash looks—super soft and muted but still colorful!
