Yeah @Poodlemum said Stormie is mottled too! I can go with that!.Stormie's a Blue Mottled! With mottling, their juvenile feathering is typically white-fronted with a solid colored back like that. As she molts out her juvenile feathering and replaces it with her adult feathering, she'll look more like what you'd expect from Mottled.
As for my birds, we're all good here as normal. My Chocolate cockerel's gotten a bit too big for his britches so he's been separated from the flock for a week or so now to cool his jets. I've been waiting on a good snowstorm to move birds around so that they won't be anticipating free-range time and perhaps be less antsy in their new arrangements, but we're having an unusually warm January and haven't had snow since December of course.
I just rehomed my 6 month old boy and had to give his hatchmate with him in order to sell him...BUT the flock dynamics are soooo much better and no more middle of the night crowing - thank God!!!
We are having unusually warm here too! I actually got to move compost around today and LUVED it!!! Smelt amazing and ready for the garden!
