Welp! I see that I'm not the only one to get a screwed up order from metzers! My ducklings last year was supposed to two female Silver Appleyards. One passed in transit and the other turnout to be a male! I was so upset when found out 3 months later, but they did refund me my money....

The only screw up I got from them was getting a Jumbo Pekin hen, instead of a regular Pekin, and also, I ordered a Dutch Hookbill from them but never got one because they were having fertility problems, which I guess they can’t help, but I was still a little annoyed and disappointed.

I thought about asking for a refund since I paid for a hen but received a drake, so I paid technically double for what I got, but decided that since I was already hankering for drake to let it go. I half wonder it we had the same packer @onaharley . It would explain how we both had similar screw ups in our order.

Although, I am looking forward to seeing my own little ducklings later this year. My daughter got an eyeful today, so here’s to hoping that we have fertile eggs soon.

I got to give to metzer, both times when I called, they backed it up each time by either shipping two new females or giving my money back. My silver appleyard drake was so calm and friendly.
Oh your poor daughter, I just winced for her!!! Lol
